Geometric design
Good astrology
For Good Astrology, featuring renowned astrologer Chani Nicholas, we explored visual directions that reflect the mysticism and modern appeal of astrology. The design exploration centered around three key themes: Aura, using rich textures, glowing hues, and ethereal gradients to capture energy and intuition; Nature, incorporating celestial bodies, plants, and organic forms to ground astrology in the rhythms of the natural world; and Geometric Design, leveraging bold shapes, starbursts, and structured compositions to evoke cosmic alignment and universal patterns. Ultimately, this project was put on hold and later released under a different show title with a new design approach.
Design exploration
Podcast design isn’t one-size-fits-all—there are countless ways to visually capture a show’s essence. From bold typography to rich illustration, from conceptual minimalism to high-energy collage, every approach tells a different story. The challenge is finding the right entry point—one that sparks curiosity, resonates with the audience, and stands out in a crowded feed. Here’s a look at how different creative directions shape the identity of a show, proving that when it comes to design, there are many ways in.

TRUE crime: templatized
The true crime genre is vast—spanning everything from high-profile kidnappings to unsolved mysteries, cults, and even the supernatural. For this project, we developed a flexible, templated design system that allows each show to have its own distinct look while maintaining a cohesive visual identity under a larger brand umbrella. This approach ensures consistency across the series while giving each story the unique tone and atmosphere it deserves, making discovery seamless and recognition stronger.
First Look Media
From season to series
Originally conceived as a one-season show centered on Richard Simmons, the overwhelming success led to an expanded series hosted by Dan Taberski. Our challenge was to retroactively develop a cohesive visual identity that unified each show while preserving their individual themes. Here is the resulting series look that brought them all together. For more on the Headlong podcast series, see the full case study here.
